Weblog-Based Digital Transformation in Tanjung Atap Village

Abstract

This study aims to determine the digital transformation process undertaken by Tanjung Atap Village through the use of weblogs as a means of public information. In today's digital era, villages are required to be able to convey information quickly, openly, and easily accessible to all residents. This information system in the digital sectoraims to increase transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness in data management and the delivery of informationrelated to villages. This is in line with the government's policy in encouraging public information disclosure as part of effective services. In the context of village management, UU Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages stipulates that local governments have the responsibility to build and develop village information systems and rural areas. Weblogs are a simple yet effective digital solution to support transparency and community participation. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews with three informants, direct observation, and document analysis. The informants in this study consisted of village officials, village administrators, and weblog designers. This study uses two theories to build the analytical foundation: digital transformation theory and digital government transformation theory. By combining these two theories, this study can provide an in-depth analysis of how the process of information digitization at the village level occurs.
